SDS Privacy Engineering Program Manager

SDS Privacy team is hiring a Engineering Program Manager for a high-visibility cross-functional role which sits between SDS and Apples Privacy Engineering Privacy Legal and Privacy Compliance partners. The SDS Privacy EPM will drive process platform and analytic solutions which ensure data collection and data use decisions across SDS to align with SDS requirements and Apples privacy standard.

The EPM on the SDS Privacy team will work with the SDS Privacy Champion to create and maintain programs processes and engineering partnerships which keep SDS data practices compliant efficient and clearly communicated to SDS and senior leadership. nn

The EPM job duties will include onboarding engineering teams to privacy platforms building out SDS specific procedures and processes ensuring consistent application of privacy standards across SDS designing role-based privacy training running the SDS Privacy awareness program creating and maintaining the SDS privacy website and identifying opportunities to streamline and automate manual privacy review and approval role will help design the Privacy program from the ground up serving as the liaison between SDS teams and Apples Corporate Privacy Management Office teams including Privacy Legal Privacy Engineering and Privacy Compliance. The PM will act as an SDS Privacy DRI monitoring for regulatory and policy changes surfacing relevant developments to SDS leadership and driving the SDS Privacy response to new Program Managers on our Strategic Data Solutions (SDS) team deliver. They drive decision automation using machine learning that allows Apple to execute w/ greater speed control efficiency and scale. They help realize business opportunity and balance operational trade-offs. They are also expected to lead across multiple functional teams to conceptualize build and deliver these automated and forensic decisions which requires continuous problem solving rapid learning and an innovative mindset. It also requires a high level of discipline patience and self-awareness as you work with many different business and engineering teams.

BS/MS or equivalent experience in a relevant field engineering math computer science)n3 years of experience in technical program management or project managementnDemonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and navigate evolving regulation to produce clear actionable guidance nProven ability to build and sustain partnerships across engineering legal and policy stakeholders influencing outcomes without direct authoritynExcellent written and verbal communication skills; able to adapt to audiences ranging from technical engineers to senior leadershipnTrack record of managing multiple concurrent programs with competing priorities and delivering reliablynInquisitiveness and a desire for continued self-improvement and development of new skill

Experience in privacy data governance regulatory compliance or a related field familiarity with frameworks such as GDPR PIPL DMA DSA or CCPA is a plusnExperience in fraud detection risk management or financial services data environmentsnExperience designing and delivering training or awareness programs for technical audiencesnSelf-motivated and energized by the opportunity to cut through ambiguity and build structure on a newly formed team
