Scrum Master

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality technology solutions. The Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader coach and facilitator helping teams embrace Agile principles improve delivery performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement within a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Scrum Sprint Reviews Sprint Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement sessions
• Ensure effective adherence to Scrum principles Agile values and team working agreements
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement
• Support teams in delivering commitments within sprint and release objectives
• Monitor team performance sprint progress and delivery metrics
• Ensure risks dependencies issues and impediments are identified tracked and resolved
• Partner with Product Owners Business Partners Architects and Technology Leaders
• Track and analyze Agile metrics such as Velocity Sprint Burndown and Cycle Time
• Identify document and manage delivery risks cross-team dependencies and technical blockers

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Business Administration or a related discipline
• 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• 7 years of experience in technology delivery project management or Agile environments
• Experience supporting software development teams using Agile methodologies
• Experience working within large complex enterprise organizations
• Familiarity with Agile at scale frameworks such as SAFe LeSS Nexus or
• Strong understanding of Scrum Framework Agile Principles Kanban Practices and Lean Methodologies
• At least one of the following certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Professional Scrum Master (PSM I II or III) SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM)
• Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Understanding of SDLC processes CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies (Azure AWS GCP)

Desired skills:

• Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously
• Preferred certifications: SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) SAFe Agilist (SA) PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) ICAgile Agile Coach Certification or Certified Agile Leadership (CAL)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation and facilitation capabilities
• Ability to influence without authority and build trusted relationships
• Critical thinking conflict resolution and root cause analysis skills
• Servant leadership mindset with a focus on team empowerment and continuous improvement

Pay range: $68.38 - $76.38 per hour
