Scientist I (Microbiology) Eurofins Environment Testing, Pomona, CA

Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater West LLC the largest potable water testing laboratory in the US has a Scientist I opening at our Pomona Laboratory in the Microbiology department. This is a full time entry level position 40 hours/week. 

Scientist responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Routine coliform and HPC analysis
• Perform Legionella Enterococcus Pseudomonas analysis
• Quality Control responsibilities
• Perform data process data entry and written documentation and validation
• Perform client notification
• Media making tasks

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Excellent aseptic technique
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Excellent attention to details
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Qualifications :

• Two years of college level sciences courses preferably with labs
• Weekday/weekend position with possible overtime and holidays if necessary
• Excellent documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement including the ability to read write and speak in English.

Additional Information :

The position is full-time shifts listed below 

• Monday to Friday 10 am -  6:30 pm w/ rotating weekends and holiday
• Monday to Friday 11:00am-7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays

Training will take place Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm.

Compensation Range: $22.20- $27 / hour (DOE) .
