Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Job Summary
Seeking a qualified School Social Worker to provide social-emotional support counseling and care coordination services to students in a school setting. The Social Worker will collaborate with students families educators and multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral emotional and social needs.
Responsibilities
Assess students social emotional behavioral and environmental needs.
Provide individual and group counseling and supportive services.
Develop and implement appropriate intervention and support plans.
Collaborate with teachers administrators families and healthcare professionals.
Assist with crisis intervention behavioral support and resource coordination.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
Support student safety well-being and educational success.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related qualification as required.
Appropriate Colorado licensure/certification for school social work.
Experience working with children adolescents or school-age populations preferred.
Strong communication assessment counseling and care coordination skills.
