Hello Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for a K12 school setting in Thornton this role youll support students social-emotional well-being family engagement and access to learning through counseling crisis support and collaboration with school teams. We welcome both new and experienced clinicians!

• Competitive pay up to $60/hour steady school-year schedule

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development
• Support crisis intervention de-escalation and safety planning as needed
• Participate in IEP MTSS and student support team meetings
• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers families and related service providers
• Support attendance engagement and wraparound services for students and families
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
• Maintain timely accurate and compliant documentation
• Connect families to community resources and supports
  

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
• Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement or eligibility by start date
• Strong communication collaboration and crisis response skills
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Passion for supporting students mental health and well-being
