Do you have a passion for helping students overcome personal and academic challenges Clarifi Staffing Solutions is recruiting a dedicated School Social Worker to join a Michigan school district for the school year. This opportunity is ideal for a professional committed to student advocacy emotional wellness and addressing challenges that may interfere with learning attendance behavior and healthy relationships.
How Youll Make a Difference
In this role youll help students navigate social emotional behavioral and academic concerns by providing individualized support and group-based interventions. Youll identify barriers to student success develop strategies to address their needs track progress and connect students and families with appropriate educational and community resources.
Working alongside teachers administrators families and related-service professionals youll help coordinate student support and promote a positive school experience. Additional responsibilities include contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings providing social work insight during educational planning and maintaining accurate records of services and student progress.
Requirements
To qualify for this role applicants must hold a Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Candidates must possess a valid Michigan Department of Education (MDE) School Social Worker approval (or verified eligibility to secure state certification prior to employment). Strong crisis-management capabilities exceptional communication skills and a deeply collaborative professional approach are required.
