Dauphin County Technical School is seeking a compassionate student-centeredSchool Social Workerto join our team. This important role supports students academic success and social-emotional well-being by providing individual and group counseling serving as the schools Attendance Officer and coordinating services for students experiencing homelessness through the McKinney-Vento program.

The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for students and families working collaboratively with school staff and community partners to connect individuals with mental health services medical resources and other essential supports. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is committed to helping students overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Social Worker Certificate (required)
• Minimum of three years of social work experience preferably in youth and family services
• Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and navigating medical and mental health resources
• Familiarity with high school educational programs and requirements (preferred)
