Job Summary
Adelphi is seeking a School Psychologist to provide on-site psychological and educational support services within a school facility in Oakland County Michigan.
The ideal candidate will conduct student evaluations support eligibility determinations participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative services to students families and school staff in accordance with state federal and district guidelines.

Requirements
Valid Michigan certification licensure or approval as a School Psychologist as required by the State of Michigan.
Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
Experience conducting school-based psychoeducational evaluations.
Knowledge of special education eligibility requirements IEPs Section 504 Plans and school-based intervention supports.
Strong understanding of standardized and informal assessment tools used to evaluate cognitive academic behavioral social-emotional and adaptive functioning.
Ability to interpret assessment results and prepare clear comprehensive written reports.
Strong communication consultation documentation and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
Ability to provide consistent on-site support in a school setting.
Maintain residence within a 40-minute commute to ensure timely and reliable service delivery.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students cognitive academic behavioral social-emotional and adaptive functioning.
Assess students in suspected areas of disability in accordance with applicable Michigan special education rules district procedures and federal requirements.
Prepare written evaluation reports eligibility documentation progress summaries and recommendations in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings evaluation review meetings and IEP team meetings to discuss findings and support eligibility and service planning.
Assist with the development of IEP goals behavioral supports intervention plans and Section 504 accommodations as appropriate.
Consult with teachers administrators parents and related service providers regarding student needs classroom supports intervention strategies and progress.
Support pre-referral intervention and problem-solving teams by reviewing student data and recommending appropriate supports.
Provide crisis support behavioral consultation and social-emotional recommendations as needed within the school setting.
Maintain accurate timely and professional documentation related to evaluations meetings services and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with school personnel and families to support student access participation and success in the educational environment.
