School Psychologist Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment data and write comprehensive evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
- Collaborate with teachers special education staff families and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students academic social emotional and behavioral development
- Participate in IEP meetings team meetings and school-based problem-solving teams
- Provide consultation on behavioral strategies and classroom supports
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid Vermont School Psychologist License (or eligibility)
- Strong skills in assessment intervention and consultation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
