We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper N.J. certification.
SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST(LEAVE REPLACEMENT)

QUALIFICATIONS:

NJ Certificate: School Psychologist

• Bachelors degree in psychology applied behavior analysis special education or other related field
• Masters Degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral emotional or developmental challenges
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state statutes and regulations for special education psychological testing instruments functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and crisis intervention strategies
• Deep understanding of PRISE (Parental Rights in Special Education) and due process rights in New Jersey
• Ability to use IEP management software (e.g. Frontline/IEP Direct EdPlan Realtime)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace software
• Strong ability to explain complex psychological data to parents and teachers in accessible language
• Ability to conduct culturally responsive evaluations and work with diverse student populations
• Experience working with at-risk studentswith social and emotional needs
• Case manager training or experience preferred
• Experience with child study team andcognitive testing
• Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of curriculum modifications
