Job Description

Summary:

Seeking a compassionate and dependable Nursing Aide to support student health and wellness across K–8 school settings. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse this role provides daily care to students assists with minor medical needs and helps maintain a safe organized and supportive school health environment.

What You’ll Do:

Assist students with basic health needs under RN supervision
Record and monitor temperatures pulse and other vital signs as directed
Support medication distribution and documentation per nurse instruction
Provide care for minor injuries and illnesses following health protocols
Maintain accurate health records and assist with communication to families and staff
Keep the nurse’s office clean organized and compliant with health standards
Ensure confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and school regulations

Experience You’ll Need:

High school diploma or GED required
CNA or CMA certification preferred
Experience in a school pediatric or healthcare setting strongly preferred
Strong communication organization and documentation skills
Compassionate calm and reliable when working with children and staff
