DESCRIPTION:
- The district is seeking a highly effective educator(s) to serve in the role as Secondary School Counselor.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students peers parents and community.
- Provide academic scheduling guidance and support.
- Advise and counsel students with both short-term and long-term academic planning as well as social emotional problems.
- Support student career and college readiness.
- Support building assessment planning preparation and implementation.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Secondary School Counselor Credentials required.
- Endorsement sought: School Counselor (NT)
- Successful experience working with and/or teaching secondary students
- Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills advanced problem-solving approaches and a strong desire to promote student success.
