Schedule: Full-time M-F 7:45am-3:15pm

Caseload: K-12 Partial Hospitalization Program

What youll do as a Mental Health Technician

Mental Health Technicians provide behavior support to all students within the classroom support individual behavioral plans and interventions run daily social-emotional groups provide direct behavioral instruction and model appropriate behavior for students.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Social Services is required
• Strong desire and motivation to work with children/youth with a behavioral/mental health diagnosis
• A minimum of one-year experience working with children with behavioral challenges
• Previous experience as a school-based Mental Health Technician is highly preferred
• Completion of the 40 hour RBT training (3rd edition task list) is highly preferred. A free course can be found through Autism Partnership Foundation.
• Current clearances (within 6 months); Safety-Care certification is a plus
