Pay: $17$20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
- Supervise and engage school-age children in a safe structured environment
- Plan and lead age-appropriate enrichment activities games STEM projects arts and crafts and outdoor play
- Assist children with homework and encourage independent learning habits
- Build positive relationships with children families and fellow educators
- Ensure accurate attendance and maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios
- Help maintain a clean organized and welcoming classroom environment
- Follow all Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) licensing regulations and center policies
- Collaborate with center leadership to provide a high-quality program for families
- Must meet Maryland Office of Child Care qualifications for a School Age Teacher
- Previous experience working with school-age children in a childcare camp school or after-school program preferred
- Strong communication leadership and classroom management skills
- Positive dependable and team-oriented attitude
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
