Work hours: Full-Time; Days; Monday- Friday 9a-5:30p for 40 hrs/week

Heres What You Need
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
One year of health care experience including customer relations required.
Two years of professional office/healthcare experience preferred.
One year of medical terminology or certification is preferred.
Six months call center experience preferred.T
CHAA Certified Healthcare Access Associate upon hire preferred
What You Will Do
Coordinate and schedules procedures for multiple departments in an accurate and timely manner ensuring maximum productivity and expedient patient flow.
Selects appropriate procedures and ICD diagnosis referral provider visit type or case insurance network coverage and location to expeditated patient access to care.
Effectively communicates with patients physician office scheduling surgery scheduling and/or other necessary staff as needed to reduce appointment time/date errors.
Verifies medical necessity criteria to ensure documentation in compliance with applicable payor guidelines.
Participates in special projects or completes other duties as assigned.
