Job Summary
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria Virginia and Orlando Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning design infrastructure management technical consulting engineering and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army Air Force Navy Marine Corps) missions along with other US federal agencies all over the world.
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler that will support U.S. Navy facilities and infrastructure projects based at the Government facilities onboard NSA Naples Italy. You will prepare analyze and review planning design and construction schedules for a wide range of projects collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate scheduling risk assessment and successful project delivery.
This position is contingent upon contract award. If awarded the contract will have a potential period of performance of up to five (5) years.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze planning design and construction schedules for a wide range of construction projects and facility types.
- Review project scope and develop or evaluate project-specific construction durations considering contract requirements site conditions operational constraints permitting weather phasing and supporting contracts.
- Develop and present the Basis of Schedule (BoSE) to project sponsors senior leaders Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) Officers and stakeholders.
- Review Architect-Engineer (A/E) schedules and durations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and site restrictions; develop proposed durations when required.
- Participate in Cost Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA) during planning and design phases.
- Serve as a non-voting member of Technical Evaluation Teams (TET) reviewing contractor schedules and providing recommendations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Supported Commands to evaluate proposed contract durations during project planning development and design.
- Provide informal schedule workshops or training to FEAD/ROICC personnel as assigned.
- Assist FEAD/ROICC representatives in developing schedule review guides and performing schedule impact analyses.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Engineering Technology or Construction Management with 5 years of construction scheduling experience or 10 years of construction scheduling experience.
- Construction scheduling experience on projects valued at $25M or greater.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 Claim Digger Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Project and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Ability to identify project conflicts and constraints and recommend mitigation measures to prevent delays.
- Experience performing construction schedule analysis including Claim Digger critical path analysis schedule modifications and delay analysis.
- Ability to analyze contractor-prepared cost-loaded Network Analysis Schedules (NAS).
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills including preparing correspondence reports and management briefings.
- Experience with Federal building criteria and construction guide specifications.
- Must have a valid US drivers license.
