Scene Shop Worker

Employees of the scene shop will be responsible for the realization of all scenery and lighting designs for Mercer University short we create magic and illusions four shows a year. Employees will work hard have fun and get dirty.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to students who are theatre majors plan to be a theatre major or who are looking to be involved for the theatre for fun or who simply have construction experience.

Necessary Abilities

• Perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
• Work with all manner of power tools including saws
• Perform their job while strictly following safety rules
• Occasionally work on Saturdays as needed
• Be open to learning new things
• Commit to a work schedule for the semester

Pay starts at $10.00 an hour
