Job Summary

Title: SAP UI5 Developer

Location: San Antonio TX(100% Onsite - 5 Days/Week)

Duration: 6-month contract (Potential for Extension)

Visa: Any visa status is fine as long as the candidate can work on our W2 payroll

Role Overview

We are seeking a SAP UI5 Developer for a contract role based in San Antonio Texas. This position requires working on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building custom applications within an S/4 HANA environment. This role requires the ability to work independently taking high-level functional designs to create robust solutions.



Key Responsibilities

Build custom SAP UI5 applications with a focus on JavaScript not Fiori development.

Work within an S/4 HANA environment to develop and deploy solutions.

Collaborate with technical and functional teams to design and analyze solutions.

Develop modularized ABAP code and handle full lifecycle custom development including enhancements.

Resolve system defects identified during the testing phase.

Adhere to development standards and follow the change management process for application deployment.

Work independently to deliver on project priorities.

Required Qualifications

Experience building custom applications with SAP UI5 JavaScript HTML5 and CSS.

Proficiency with Business Application Studio (BAS).

Experience working in an S/4 HANA environment.

Strong understanding of modularized ABAP code.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills.

Good understanding of object-oriented programming MVC and data modeling concepts.

Experience with Gateway Services OData and CDS views.

Experience with Fiori Elements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Git for version control.

Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices.

Experience extending and integrating new solutions with pre-existing custom solutions.
