Job Description:

• Demonstrated hands on experience with SAP Funds Management (FM) supporting governmental fund accounting in compliance with Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) requirements
• Proven experience supporting ECC to SAP S/4HANA brownfield migrations while preserving budgetary accounting fund integrity and audit continuity
• Expertise in FM configuration and validation including FM Area Funds Budget Structures Commitment/Earmarked Funds and Availability Control (AVC) to ensure continued appropriation and legal budget compliance.
• Experience validating and reconciling budgetary (Modified Accrual) data-including budgets commitments and actuals-between ECC and S/4HANA for audit sign off.
• Hands on experience supporting Funds Management reporting required for:
• Statutory and external financial reporting (fund level statements legally restricted funds compliance reporting)
• Government management and oversight reporting including budget to actual and fund utilization analysis.
• Strong understanding of the integration between FM (budgetary / Modified Accrual) and FI/FI AA (financial / Full Accrual) to support dual reporting obligations under GASB
• Knowledge of FM integration with FI CO MM PS and FI AA to maintain end to end audit trails from budgetary control through financial statements.
• Experience supporting SIT UAT and cutover activities with specific focus on fund balance integrity commitment carryforward and post go live stabilization
• Ability to produce audit ready documentation including reconciliation schedules control validations and explanations suitable for internal and external government audits.
• Nice to have: Experience with SAP Grants Management (GM) including grant funded budgeting compliance and reporting aligned to federal state or local grant requirements.
• Strong communication skills to engage with Finance Budget Offices Program Owners and Auditors in a regulated government environment.
