Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: (Management reserves the right to add or modify the duties and responsibilities at any time.)
- Receives information from opposite shift as it pertains to their work assignments and production. Communication with the off shift is imperative to make a smooth transition of work in progress. Visually ensures that machinery used in this area is functioning normally and within established guidelines.
- Operator will be responsible for the damage and care of the equipment.
- Proficient in the operation of a forklift in a safe compliant manner. Must complete the OSHA Forklift Certification Class with a passing grade.
- Operator will be required to work different shifts.
- Operator will be expected to rework pallets that are damaged on a daily basis on current shift.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including days nights weekends and/or holidays as required.

Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalency is required. Must have an OSHA-approved certification to operate a forklift. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must pay attention to detail and perform tasks with a high level of quality.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual must be PC literate and proficient with Word Outlook E1 and Access.
