Salesforce Solution Architect / Functional Lead
Location: New Jersey (Onsite)
Duration: 11-Month Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect / Functional Lead to serve as the strategic and hands-on bridge between business objectives and the Salesforce ecosystem. This role will focus on driving platform enhancements optimizing cross-system data flows improving user adoption and supporting customer satisfaction initiatives across Sales Cloud Service Cloud and Experience Cloud environments.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong architectural expertise hands-on Salesforce functional experience and the ability to lead solution delivery in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Cloud Architecture & Functional Leadership
- Lead solution architecture and functional design across:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Provide hands-on platform guidance and configuration support
- Support portal strategies related to:
- Scheduling capabilities
- Invoice management
- Future e-commerce gateway initiatives
- Ensure scalable and sustainable platform architecture aligned with business goals
Data & Integration Strategy
- Manage and optimize Salesforce data architecture and data flows
- Oversee HubSpot-to-Salesforce lead routing processes
- Support and maintain multiple downstream system integrations
- Analyze and improve end-to-end functional workflows and integration efficiency
- Collaborate with technical teams to support ETL and data management strategies
Strategic Delivery Partnership
- Partner closely with Delivery Leads and business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Provide functional and architectural leadership for enhancement initiatives
- Support roadmap execution and operational prioritization
Enhancement Delivery & SOP Governance
- Drive backlog grooming prioritization and enhancement execution
- Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support proposal management process optimization
- Prepare Salesforce data models and business processes for future scalability
Ecosystem & Third-Party Application Management
- Manage and optimize integrations and workflows involving:
- HubSpot
- DocuSign
- Amazon Web Services
- Conga
- Support document generation workflow automation and eSignature processes
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Review offshore deployment logs and overnight status updates
- Conduct strategic planning sessions with Delivery Leads
- Triage and prioritize support tickets and enhancement requests
- Separate operational support issues from long-term strategic initiatives
- Design functional data flows and process maps
- Lead offshore coordination and daily development handoffs
- Support technical troubleshooting and unblock delivery challenges
- Maintain project documentation and process visibility
Required Qualifications
- 810 years of overall IT or Business Systems experience
- 57 years of dedicated Salesforce experience
- Strong expertise across:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce configuration and automation tools including:
- Flow Builder
- Process Builder
- Salesforce Setup & Administration
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture and integrations
- Experience managing offshore delivery coordination
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation skills
