Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Government Cloud & Tableau Licensing Consultant to support enterprise licensing subscription management platform administration and technical support for a government organization. The consultant will ensure effective license governance optimize Salesforce Government Cloud Plus and Tableau usage provide ongoing user support and maintain compliance with government security and procurement standards.

The consultant will manage Salesforce Government Cloud Plus and Tableau subscription licensing while providing technical support license administration user onboarding renewal coordination and platform optimization. This role partners with business stakeholders IT leadership and software vendors to ensure secure compliant and cost-effective enterprise application management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Salesforce Government Cloud Plus and Tableau licenses and subscriptions.

  • Monitor license utilization and recommend optimization strategies.

  • Manage user provisioning deactivation and permission assignments.

  • Coordinate software renewals licensing compliance and vendor communications.

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Salesforce and Tableau users.

  • Troubleshoot licensing access and platform-related issues.

  • Develop license inventory reports usage analytics and executive dashboards.

  • Support Tableau Server/Cloud user management and content access.

  • Maintain documentation including SOPs licensing records and knowledge base articles.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to meet government security requirements.

  • Assist with system upgrades testing and enterprise application enhancements.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems Business or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience administering Salesforce or enterprise SaaS platforms.

  • Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud and Tableau licensing is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of user access management and software asset management.

  • Experience supporting enterprise software in a government or regulated environment.

  • Excellent analytical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
