As a member of AWS AFX - Planning Tools team you will shape the AWS businesss direction as a whole. You will contribute to defining and building the next go-to-market (GTM) platform for the AWS Sales addition to working on the latest Salesforce technologies youll have the opportunity to innovate in the space of Sales Planning and Management. Youll be chartered with creating and operating applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field and with embedding operational knowledge and encoding best practices into everything we do. The right candidate will have a robust system delivery background well-rounded technical knowledge and demonstrated experience working on large scale projects. The candidate must be customer-obsessed have strong analytical and communication skills and thrive on solving challenging business problems. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with multiple teams. You will design and build scalable platforms that enable AWS to sell new products and services with the necessary speed to market.

The team shares a passion for delivering superior products for AWS innovating using advanced technologies and impacting the AWS business in a meaningful way. Key job responsibilities
Perform technical analysis design development implementation of applications with necessary customization
Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements translating requirements into well-architecture solutions that best use Salesforce Territory Planning/Salesforce Maps.
Support cross systems and related integrations across Salesforce eco system
Build solutions on platform including development in Lightning Web Components Visualforce Apex and Web Services
Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to maintain and enhance Salesforce applications in iterative release cycles
Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices guidelines to improve system productivity scaling and monitoring

About Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

- Bachelors degree in mathematics engineering statistics computer science or a related field
- certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer
- Experience developing web services or with Salesforce API Metadata and other APIs (REST SOAP)
- Experience implementing Salesforce Lightning applications using Salesforce platform tools and technologies such as Apex classes Visualforce pages and Lightning App Builder
- 4 years of experience developing on Salesforce platform

- Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams
- Advanced degree in Mathematics Engineering Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience implementing Salesforce Territory Planning/Maps and CRM Analytics
- Understanding of data structures data modeling and database schema
- Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts and how they influence design
- Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles
- Demonstrated success in implementing at least two full life cycle SFDC implementation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
