Sales Manager

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Skytouch Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. Job Summary:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive occupancy ADR and RevPAR growth
• Manage revenue management strategies including rate setting inventory control and forecasting
• Prospect and cultivate relationships with corporate accounts group business and local market clients
• Analyze market trends and competitive set data to optimize pricing and positioning
• Collaborate with the front desk and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experience and upsell opportunities
• Prepare and present sales reports production summaries and revenue forecasts to ownership and management
• Leverage Marriott brand tools systems and loyalty programs to maximize distribution and visibility

Job Qualifications:

• Previous hotel sales or revenue management experience preferably with a branded property
• Familiarity with Marriott systems CI/TY or similar property management and sales platforms is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly
• Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated goal-oriented and able to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business or related field preferred
