About the Role
Client is seeking an Associate Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) to join its Outside Sales this role you will be responsible for driving new business growth by partnering with local and regional restaurants across emerging and underserved markets.
This is a highly interactive field-based sales position where youll meet restaurant owners face-to-face present the value of clients platform and negotiate partnership agreements. Youll work closely with a Regional Sales Manager and have access to sales tools and resources to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and acquire new restaurant partners within assigned territories.
Conduct in-person meetings with restaurant owners and decision-makers.
Present the benefits of partnering with candidate and negotiate partnership agreements.
Manage a fast-paced sales cycle and close deals efficiently.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective merchants.
Help expand clients presence in emerging and rural markets.
Travel Requirements
Travel is required and accounts for approximately 50% or more of the role.
Most travel will be within a 2-hour radius of Corpus Christi.
Occasional overnight travel and longer travel days may be required.
All travel-related expenses are covered by the company.
Qualifications
2 years of successful sales experience preferably in a closing role.
Experience selling to SMBs (Small and Medium Businesses) strongly preferred.
Restaurant food & beverage hospitality or local business sales experience is highly desirable.
Strong prospecting negotiation and closing skills.
Comfortable working independently in a field sales environment.
Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
