Sales Associate Optical Specialist Part Time

The Optical Specialist is customer-facing role at the heart of the Eyeglass World in-store experience. This position brings the brand to life through confident service attention to detail and ownership of the final moments that matter most from pre-exam support to eyewear readiness fitting and pickup. As a key member of the team this role ensures every customer interaction feels seamless elevated and on-brand. This role blends customer connection optical support and finishing excellence to deliver consistent high-quality experiences.

Essential Functions:

Create an Exceptional Customer Experience

• Deliver warm confident and personalized service at every stage of the visit
• Guide customers through eyewear selection final fitting and product education
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience

Support Clinical & In Store Flow

• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam finish and pickup moments
• Serve as a calm knowledgeable presence throughout the customer journey

Own Finish & Quality Excellence

• Perform finishing work including final adjustments inspections and quality checks
• Ensure all eyewear meets Eyeglass World standards for fit function and presentation
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished brand aligned handoff

Operate with Precision & Care

• Support order entry tracking and timely completion
• Maintain organized clean and efficient finish and retail areas
• Identify and resolve quality or service issues proactively

Bring the Brand to Life

• Model Eyeglass World service standards tone and behaviors in every interaction
• Uphold visual experiential and operational brand standards in the store
• Partner with the store team to deliver a consistent and elevated experience

Qualifications :

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Work Experience

• 1 year experience in optical retail sales or customer service (Required)

Additional Skills

• Strong multitasking time management and organizational skills (Required)
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required)
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required0
• Support store team in shared goals (Required)
• Bilingual abilities (Preferred)
