Catering Coordinator Full Time Hourly Estimated pay range $18.15 to $22.38 depending on qualifications and experienceMust be at least 18 years and olderPosition Description:The Catering Coordinator works to promote the growth of Stew Leonards catering services by connecting with current and potential customers. To bring a customers vision to life the Catering Coordinator provides knowledge and guidance related to food selections in a prompt and courteous day-to-day:Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Stew Leonards catering menu including holiday menusSpeak directly with customers in store and on the phone and accurately document the requirements of the customers orderAssist customer and guide them with food and quantity selections based on event size and detailsReturn customer phone calls when necessaryEnsure each sales department is prepared to execute order requirements by circulating order detailsEnsure menus are up to date and available in storeSolicit services with local businessesEnsure pricing is accurateAs needed assist chef and culinary staff in order preparationDeliver catering orders when necessaryAdhere to all health sanitation and safety regulationsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentAt least one year experience with product knowledgeExcellent customer service skillsExcellent communication skills both written and oralGood computer skills and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook and in house catering programGood organizational skillsThe ability to multi-taskWhat you bring to the team: Excellent work ethicExcellent interpersonal skillDetailed orientedGood listenerHonestQuick thinkerProblem solverFlexibleWorking Conditions:The position requires standing and walking with occasional sitting reaching and lifting up to :Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude ensuring that each customer feels welcome and :Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store offering assistance and support where :Improve and maintain the efficiency of the store in order to reach success.
