Safety Supervisor

Joliet Staffing is currently hiring a Safety Supervisor for our client in Salinas CA. This is a key role responsible for ensuring a safe compliant and productive work environment within a fast-paced food processing facility.

Shift: 1st Shift

Salary: $80000-$85000/YR

The Safety Supervisor will oversee and support all safety programs on-site ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role is critical in maintaining a strong safety culture in a cold and wet food production environment.

• Monitor and enforce all workplace safety procedures and protocols
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits throughout the facility
• Support and manage workers compensation claims and reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with CAL-OSHA and DOT regulations
• Provide safety training and coaching to employees and supervisors
• Investigate incidents identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all departments

• Minimum 2 years of Safety Supervisor experience
• Experience in food processing environments preferred
• Familiarity with cold and wet working conditions preferred
• Strong knowledge of workers compensation procedures
• Working knowledge of CAL-OSHA and DOT regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends evenings and overtime
