Job Summary
HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support multiple active construction projects throughout the State College/Altoona PA region. This is a full-time position requiring regular travel between project sites within approximately a 75-mile radius.
- Conduct routine safety visits and audits across 56 active project sites
- Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and work with project teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations client requirements and site-specific safety policies
- Conduct site inspections and document safety observations and findings
- Provide field-level safety support and guidance to project teams
- Communicate effectively with project management supervisors and field personnel
- Maintain required safety documentation and audit reports
- Travel regularly between project locations throughout the assigned region
- Qualifications
- OSHA 30 required
- Previous construction safety experience required
- Electrical Transmission & Distribution (T&D) experience strongly preferred
- Ability to independently manage safety responsibilities across multiple active project sites
- Strong communication organization and hazard-recognition skills
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required
- Must be comfortable with frequent regional driving
Additional Details- Full-time 40 hours per week
- Projects located throughout the State College/Altoona PA region
- Regional travel within approximately a 75-mile radius
