Were looking for a detail-driven self-directed compliance professional to run the daily operations of our Safety Management System (SMS) TSA security program and FAA Drug & Alcohol program while keeping flight crew records airtight under FAR 135.63 and FAR 111. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role focused on program execution not executive safety leadership.

What Youll Do

Safety

• Administer the SMS: hazard reporting safety risk assessments and the SMS Manual under FAR Part 135
• Serve as a conduit between staff and management on safety issues
• Support internal safety investigations and Emergency Response Plan readiness including mock drills
• Keep the Safety Committee scheduled and documented

Regulatory Compliance

• Maintain the TFSSP and deliver TSA training to Part 135 pilots
• Manage the Master Crew List and Master Personnel List resolving TSA/DHS vetting issues
• Host annual TSA audits and liaise with the Principal Security Specialist
• Serve as DER for the Drug & Alcohol program: scheduling DOT testing notifying managers of results and hosting FAA audits

Flight Crew Records

• Own pilot records under FAR 135.63 including the monthly Crew Due List
• Coordinate simulator training and travel logistics
• Maintain ARGUS Charter X/Wyvern and PRD entries per FAR 111
• Track monthly flight and duty reports; support crew background screenin

What You Bring

• Working knowledge of FAA Parts 91/135 TSA TFSSP and FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol regulations
• 5 years in Part 135 aviation with safety security or compliance exposure
• Bachelors degree in aviation management or equivalent experience
• SMS Course certification or willingness to obtain one
• High attention to detail sound judgment and comfort working independently
