Job Summary

Southern Company Services is seeking aPower BI Developer (RPA Developer II)with13 years of experienceto design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inPower BI DAX Power Query (M) and data modeling with the ability to transform business requirements into insightful visualizations and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports usingPower BI.

Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.

Build data models and developDAXandPower Query (M)queries.

Integrate data from SQL Server Excel SharePoint and cloud data sources.

Optimize dashboard performance and manage data refreshes.

Implement row-level security and workspace permissions.

Troubleshoot reporting issues and document data models and report logic.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

13 years of Power BI development experience.

Experience withPower BI Desktop Power BI Service and Power Query.

Strong proficiency withDAXandM Query.

Experience building dashboards and reports from scratch.

Solid understanding of data modeling concepts.

Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SQL Server Excel and SharePoint.

Familiarity withPower AutomateandPower Apps.

Experience working with large datasets and dashboard optimization.

Microsoft Power BI certification (preferred).

Experience with utility industry data or GIS visualizations is a plus.
