Route Bus Driver

Qualifications:

CDL License required with clean driving record (or willing/able to be trained and get one)

Excellent attendance record

Ability to interact with all ages of students in a positive manner

Ability to work independently

High school diploma or equivalent

Capable of performing light duty setup clerical and other work as assigned

Responsibilities & Duties:

Responsible for transportation of student; including all responsibilities connected to operating a school bus per all applicable district policies & state/federal laws

Conduct all pre-trip inspections as required

Manage and maintain all students on the bus in a calm and safe manner

Communicate with students parents and other staff members in a positive manner

Maintain proper license and endorsement and pass DOT physical and random drug testing per DOT regulations

Regular attendance is an essential job function

Terms of Employment:
School year position to follow student calendar
Daily 6:00am 9:15am and 2:13pm 5:00pm (approximately)
Subject to passing post offer background checks
