Rotating Equipment Repair Engineer

Overview:Oversees and coordinates activities involved in fabrication machining reverse engineering installation and repair of pumping may involve but are not limited to project management reverse/design engineering root cause analysis quoting/estimating logistics customer service ROI evaluation Field Service :Researches and analyzes data such as inspection reports cost analysis specifications and manuals to determine feasibility of repair or parts or assemblies writing repair instructions evaluating equipment components for repair/replacement by applying specialized knowledge of engineering and oversees personnel in inspection evaluation fabrication machining and assembly equipment. Ensures pumps/systems conform to engineering design and customer vendors and repair activities to obtain optimum efficiency in the repair process of design products and systems to interface existing pump Autodesk AutoCAD Autodesk Inventor and/or other programs for design data processing layouts reverse engineering and for developing evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system specialize in specific field of mechanical engineering such as heat transfer hydraulics controls and instrumentation tooling or in type of product such as propulsion systems or machinery and mechanical equipment: or in type or work such as steam or gas generation steam plant engineering or system planning.
