Robotics Engineering Intern (MastersPhD Level)

Role Overview:
We are seeking 12 Masters or PhD interns specializing in robotics mechatronics or AI. You will play a hands-on role in designing prototyping and validating robotic subsystems for retail food automation. This includes programming robotic arms grippers for ingredient handling sensor fusion and machine vision for quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Support system architecture component specification and integration of robotic hardware and control software.
• Develop and refine computer vision motion planning and control algorithms (ROS Python/C PLC).
• Ensure compliance with food safety protocols in robotic end-effectors and materials.
• Participate in prototype development lab testing and field deployment at QSR test locations.
• Design and test operator interfaces performance dashboards and data collection workflows (assembly times error tracking efficiency).
• Contribute to documentation troubleshooting and process optimization for scalability.

Qualifications:

• Masters/PhD student in Robotics Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with robotic manipulators computer vision ROS CAD and rapid prototyping.
• Interest in food robotics HRI or retail automation is a plus.
