Rate: $34-$36/hour
Sign-on bonus: Up to $7500
Shift: Full-Time
Schedule: Days 7 am - 3:30 pm
Harris Hill Nursing Facilityis looking to add an RN Unit Manager to its nursing leadership this role youll oversee the clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit ensuring high-quality resident care regulatory compliance staff supervision and interdisciplinary coordination. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the clinical care and daily operations of an assigned nursing unit
- Supervise nursing staff nursing assistants rehabilitation aides and unit support staff
- Conduct resident assessments and ensure care plans are implemented updated and followed appropriately
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with providers families and interdisciplinary team members
- Review provider orders laboratory results incident reports and quality indicators
- Participate in care plan meetings family meetings QAPI activities and interdisciplinary rounds
- Coordinate admissions discharges transfers outside appointments and resident services
- Ensure accurate documentation medication management and regulatory compliance
- Support staff education orientation coaching and performance management activities
- Monitor infection control immunization tracking resident safety and quality improvement initiatives
- Address resident family and staff concerns while promoting a positive care environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree preferred
- Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a long-term care setting required
- 3-5 years of long-term care experience with supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of resident assessments care planning and long-term care regulations
- Leadership experience with the ability to supervise coach and mentor staff
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate care across multiple disciplines and manage competing priorities
- Experience with quality improvement infection prevention and regulatory compliance preferred
