What Youll Do

  • Assess monitor and evaluate patient conditions identifying changes and initiating appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medications treatments and therapeutic procedures in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
  • Utilize specialized equipment and clinical resources to provide safe high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary to promote optimal recovery and well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead the Plan of Care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
  • Perform ongoing evaluations of treatment effectiveness and patient progress.
  • Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate referrals and resources when appropriate.
Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team
  • Partner with physicians therapists case managers and support staff to deliver coordinated care.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences.
  • Delegate and supervise patient care activities as appropriate.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model for colleagues new graduates and support staff.
Educate Advocate & Support
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients and families through compassionate communication.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses treatments medications and recovery goals.
  • Advocate for patients physical emotional and psychosocial needs.
  • Promote an environment of dignity respect and patient-centered care


Qualifications

  • Current active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • At least 1 year recent experience and knowledge in Sub-Acute Care Skilled Nursing Long-Term Care Rehabilitation Telemetry or Acute Care
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Pediatric experience or completion of a pediatric course within one year of hire
  • Strong communication assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work varying shifts including days evenings nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm flexible and effective in a dynamic healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Bilingual communication skills


Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave Tustin CA 92780.
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is $41.00- $62.00 base hourly. The salary range represents our national target range for this role. 12-Hour Shifts 8 Hours regular base rate. Hours over 8 in 12-Hour shift are 1.5x OT.
