Job Summary

Overview

The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment planning implementation and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides healthcare to individuals families and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

Provides and facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area of practice. Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of documentation of care is complete and health and wellness education to individuals and as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare leadership for initiatives designed to improve the quality of care or clinical Nursing Supervisor in the development of departmental standing orders as risk phone call triage- suicide calls safety checks Assisting with social work issues- medication payments assisting with set up of multiple psychiatric/psychology appointments. Forms/letters for FMLA school or work Refill line- retrieves patient information from phone line and starts a message in EPIC Prior authorization for psych medications Injections

Qualifications

Certifications: Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA) Education: College Diploma Nursing Work Experience:

Salary Range

The compensation range for this position is $33.11per hour - $53.88per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidates experience qualifications location training licenses shifts worked and compensation model.
