• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Shift / Schedule: MID - 12hr; 36hr D/E Rotation. Start times of 7a on day shift and 9a and 11a on evenings. Every 3rd weekend as needed every other holiday. On call: 1x per schedule. May float to Moakley OR if needed.

This is a contract Operating Room RN position within Surgical Services at a major academic medical center in Boston MA. The OR is staffed 24/7 across 17 operating rooms serving a broad range of surgical specialties including general GYN GU oral otolaryngology bariatrics orthopedics neurosurgery vascular thoracic cardiac plastics podiatry robotics pediatrics trauma and spine.

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred

• Neuro and vascular experience preferred
• Experience beyond scrub general GYN and GU preferred

• Must be competent in at least 5 of the surgical services listed (gen gyn gu oral oto bariatrics ortho neuro vascular thoracic cardiac plastics podiatry robotics pedi trauma spine)
• Positive attitude and flexibility
• Excellent communication skills

• BLS certification required

• Talent who reside less than 50 miles from the facility will be placed at a local rate; the local rate is $10 less than the posted bill rate.
• Previous permanent staff are not eligible to be submitted as travelers.
