RN - Obstetrics
Location: Santa Rosa CA
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics Nurse (RN) to join a respected hospital in Santa Rosa CA. This full-time position offers 12-hour evening shifts in a high-quality obstetrics unit recognized for excellence in patient care with a $3000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized obstetrics care including labor delivery postpartum and newborn support
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being administer medications and assist during deliveries
- Collaborate with physicians midwives and the healthcare team to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on labor processes newborn care and postpartum recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (2 years preferred)
