Essential Functions:

  • Coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals for creating and evaluating customized care plans.
  • Maintaining reports of patients medical histories and monitoring changes in their condition.
  • Carrying out the requisite treatments and medications.
  • Changing patients medication as indicated by their conditions and responses.
  • Maintaining hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with the healthcare procedures.
  • Providing instant care during medical emergencies.
  • Discussing treatment with pharmacists and physicians in the critical cases.
  • Providing necessary guidance on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Preparing patients for examinations.
  • Educating patients families about the disease and its treatment.
  • Assisting doctors during surgery.
  • Attending educational workshops for enhancing professional and technical knowledge.
  • Performing lab work and giving complete information to the physician about patients condition during anesthesia.
  • Recommending drugs and other forms of treatment like inhalation therapy physical therapy etc.

Skills Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels.
  • Ability to complete competency CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical equations.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.
  • Exposure to distressed patients families or visitors.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires standing sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per day.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Associates in Nursing or has graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current certification/license in the State of Missouri.
  • Class B Basic Life Support (CPR) within 90 days of employment and renewed biannually.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of general or Skilled Nursing preferred.
