RN Nurse Manager

Position: Nurse Manager Emergency Services
Shift: Days MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM On-call for 24/7 operations

• Oversee daily operations staffing and patient care in the Emergency Services department.

• Ensure high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with established policies and evidence-based practices.

• Monitor and evaluate nursing performance clinical outcomes and adherence to standards of care.

• Foster a culture of accountability transparency and continuous improvement.

• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure appropriate staff assignments and optimal patient care.

• Manage admissions discharges and patient flow to maximize efficiency and quality outcomes.

• Lead initiatives to enhance patient experience satisfaction and service recovery.

• Implement employee engagement strategies provide coaching feedback and professional development opportunities.

• Address staff concerns grievances and performance issues according to organizational policies.

• Maintain regulatory compliance accreditation standards and operational readiness of equipment and supplies.

• Manage operating expenses resource utilization and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.

• Minimum 1 year recent Acute Care ER leadership experience (Charge Coordinator or Supervisor)

• RN or APRN license required

• Nursing education: Associate Degree or RN Diploma

• ACLS (or Instructor) required within 6 months of start

• BLS required within 30 days of start

• ENPC or PALS (or Instructor) required within 6 months of start
