Summary
The RN - Nurse Educator will provide coverage for all inpatient MCH including Labor & Delivery (L&D) NICU MBU and Pediatrics. The position requires strong Labor & Delivery skills a minimum of two years of Labor & Delivery experience a Masters degree in Education and strong recent hands-on experience including scrubbing within the past five years. The Nurse Educator will support education for Labor & Delivery NICU and postpartum.
Required Education
- Masters Degree.
- Masters in Education required.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- New York State RN License.
- Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
- AHA BLS.
Required Skills & Experience
- Two (2) years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience.
- Strong L&D skills.
- Strong and recent hands-on experience including scrubbing within the past 5 years.
- Provides coverage for all inpatient MCH including L&D NICU MBU and Peds.
- Supports education for Labor and Delivery NICU and postpartum.
