Common diagnoses/Types of patients Congestive heart failure (CHF) hypertension and chest pain work-ups COPD exacerbations asthma and pneumonia COPD exacerbations asthma and pneumonia Pancreatitis bowel obstructions gastrointestinal bleeding and acute renal failure.
Experience or Must have skills NIHSS
Are RNs required to titrate drips Yes
Common titratable &/or set rate drips analgesics for pain anticoagulants for blood clots and antihypertensives for blood pressure control
Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit Are RNs required to read their own strips What brand are the tele monitors No
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Does the charge nurse take an assignment Yes
