Essential Job Functions:
Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups: Infants Pediatrics Adolescents Adults and Geriatrics.
Documents thoroughly as care is delivered following regulatory and hospital requirements.
Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development of self and others.
Practices in a clinical environment through application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills
Ability to work varied shifts and/or days including weekends and holidays
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to utilize good judgment demonstrate patience utilize best practices for patient care as expected by department leaders and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Must be able to work in a busy stressful and work environment where practice changes to meet new patient safety requirements goals or objectives.
Computer skills: Word Excel Outlook Electronic medical records software.
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage workload expectations.
Interpersonal verbal communication and advanced math skills.
Creativity problem analysis team work and decision making.
