About the Opportunity
ATC Healthcare of Las Vegas is seeking experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurses to support rehabilitation facilities in Las Vegas and Henderson NV. As part of ATCs staffing network youll receive full employer-of-record support including payroll workers compensation and malpractice insurance while delivering high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from illness injury or surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition
• Administer medications treatments and IV therapies per physician orders and facility protocols
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary rehab team
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatment plans and discharge/home-care instructions
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the facilitys EMR system
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate care appropriately
• Coordinate with physicians therapists (PT/OT/SLP) case managers and ancillary staff to support rehabilitation goals
• Maintain compliance with facility state and federal regulations and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active unencumbered Nevada RN license (or multistate compact license valid in Nevada)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred/required depending on unit)
• Minimum 12 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Strong assessment critical-thinking and documentation skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced rehab/post-acute environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a rehabilitation skilled nursing or post-acute care setting
• Experience with geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with specific EMR system if known
• BSN preferred
