About the Unit Medical 7W
Medical 7W cares for adult patients with common diagnoses including cellulitis pneumonia urinary tract infections chest pain gastrointestinal issues COPD exacerbations and medically stable COVID patients. This unit helps build strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation acute medical care and fast-paced patient management.

Qualifications
Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
Associate Degree in Nursing
Nursing Diploma
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
Certifications:
Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:BSN preferred
Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting
Physical Requirements
Ability to push pull and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
Ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
