Unit L&D/PP/MB
- # L&D Beds: 12 Bed LDRP
- # births a year: 300
- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: 1:1 for Labor Patients 1:2-3 for Couplets
- Required Certifications (i.e. BLS ACLS): BLS AWHONN intermediate or advanced OR C-EFM NRP
- Experience or Must have skills: Must have 1 year of LDRP experience within the last 3 years
- Must be comfortable caring for antepartum intrapartum and post-partum
- Must have triage experience
- Must be comfortable circulating and recovering C-Sections
- Prefer prior travel experience
- Are RNs required to titrate drips; Pitocin Mag
- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling): 7-7 Schedule is made out by leadership for 6 wks at a time travelers are expected to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling.
All time off requests need to be submitted prior to starting assignment
- Weekend Requirements: 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule
- Holiday Requirements May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation
- Is there a call or standby requirement: Rare for low census
- Floating Requirements: None; If an extreme need - could float within Zone 3: OCH LUH SAH SAN
- Scrub Color/Dress code: Provided- Blue Hospital Scrubs
- Unit/Department specific orientation: 1-3 Shifts with Preceptor
