*Certifications Required: BLS ACLS NIHSS*
- # of Beds: 16
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2 with occasional 1:1- TPA balloon pump recovery of crani
- Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Sedation paralytics pressors antihypertensives heparin insulin
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift Does the charge nurse take an assignment: Yes
- RT Equipment (Vents Cpap BiPap High Flow etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot: Nasal cannula to vent
- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit Are RNs required to read their own strips What brand are the tele monitors: RNs required to read and interpret
- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling):// Unit schedulers will make schedule
- Weekend Requirements: Every other
- Holiday Requirements: As needed
- Floating Requirements: Mainly to PCU but can go to all areas in the hospital depending on abilities
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN: Navy Blue
