# beds/trauma bays - 56 beds hall beds will bring this number to 60-70s
Do you have a Fast track yes 6 beds
Do you have a separate Triage area & do you allow/require travelers to do Triage Triage area is separate with 5 beds travelers can take a triage test and may be assigned although generally department staff assigned
Do you have a separate holding area in the ER or are ER holds intermixed w/in the ER We have 18 beds within the ED designated for holding inpatients awaiting bed placement if additional is needed they are
Do ER RNs manage their own ER holds Yes although inpatient RNs often float to the ED to take an inpatient assignment for ER holds
Do you have separate Psych/seclusion rooms Yes we have a locked hall with 6 private treatment rooms
In-house Security Yes
# patients per day approximately 170-200
Ratios - 1:3 if they are low acuity 1:4
Required Certifications ACLS BLS TNCC PALS or ENPC
Experience or Must have skills Will accept a traveler with 1 year of experience in a larger trauma settings.
