Research Medical Center is a 585 bed hospital. Our hospital offers an array of medical and health clinic services. This includes womens services offering obstetrics and fertility an emergency room and a trauma center. We offer a Stroke Center a walk-in clinic and orthopedics across three Kansas City locations. Our specialty care areas include a Chest Pain Center Level I Trauma Center Breast Care Center Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Programs and Primary Stroke Center. We are one of 10 Midwest Health hospitals in Kansas City and surrounding areas

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Nursing and the Chief Nursing Officer provides nursing leadership for assessing planningimplementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility.

Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families.

Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner.

Supports the mission and vision of the facility division and company.

Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement process.

What qualifications you will need:

Must have 2 years of Recent Acute Care ED management experience.

Must hold a current RN license from the Missouri Board of Professional Registration or an active compact license. American Heart Association or client

BLS and ACLSrequired upon hire. Certification in area of specialty preferred.

ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) OR PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) upon hireand TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) OR ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) required within one year of hire.
